13 SepI have got to get the tech working where I can post on my blog and it goes on FB.
Dudes as stay at home Dad’s
8 SepI just heard Gerald Nadler say on UP (Chris Hayes) that men who stay at home to parent their kids are seen as weird. I totally agree…men doing parenting is not normalized in the way that women working is now normalized….this goes much deeper. I will say more later.
Media Center
8 SepOK, so I’ve been having problems with my media center. The latest issue is that I think my mac mini died. I’m going to have to replace it. We’ll see what to do.

First words of my thoughts
8 SepHello world,
This is the first post I’m making to my blog. I’ve been wanting to do this and here I am. I’ve been thinking of all the things that I want to write about and they are many. Here’s a stab at the topics I may explore….gender roles, men and women, neuroscience of emotion and reason, scientific basis for progressive ideas, the ideas of Chris Hedges, Big global problems, the psychology of big global problems, relationships, emotions in general, reason vs other modes of thought, progressivism and science, environmental justice, progressive politics, my science work in translational bioinformatics, religion and free thinking.
Those are a few things that I’ve thought about. There are many others. I need to organize and categorize them. I figure I’ll get around to that.
I would like to have pictures and videos eventually as well. We’ll see as we go along.
