Media Center progress and issues

OK so I’ve upgraded the media center hardware and software. I got a monster machine! I even have a midi and new speakers but I’m not sure how to use them. Thanks Will for selling me the hardware on Craig’s list. I got to figure out how to incorporate the speakers and maybe the midi. Not sure what I’ll do with it.
The main issue is the reason for the media center being down. The main reason is the the drive that I had ALL my media on is quite sick. Now the trick is going to be if I can get the movies and music off that drive onto the drive that I am using now. Not sure if that is possible.
I Hope so…that’s a lot of media. Then I’ll install Plex and have my system up and running.

19 SepI am at the second to the last step in the long optical tunnel I’ve been traveling down.! I am getting my new, post cataract glasses. Costco does it pretty well. Might get a coat too!

This is my reading that I’m working on…It covers a big topic for me that’s reason and emotion. This book blows up my ideas as showing them as intimately linked and not necessarily opposed. More on that later.
Men
16 SepWell, one topic I want to cover is gender roles when it comes to men. I have a lot to say about this especially when it comes to my dad and me. I am also pretty interested in what extent our roles are not cultural or how our biology as males sets parameters of our behavior. I’d like to look into MRI related data as to brain structure. However, I have to say that Evo psych explanations strike me as “just so stories”.
Me and my dad is a big topic. I had another dream about him last night. I even dream about saying how important my dad is to me.
